Academic & Operational Guidelines
BTI is committed to maintaining a structured, transparent, and learner-centered environment. The following policies and procedures are in place to ensure quality education, safety, and organizational integrity.
1. Admission Policy
- Clear eligibility criteria based on program requirements
- Fair and non-discriminatory selection process
- Required documents: valid ID, educational certificates, application form
2. Attendance & Punctuality
- Minimum 80% attendance required to complete most courses
- Late arrivals (15+ minutes) may be marked absent
- Absence must be justified with valid documentation (medical, legal, etc.)
3. Assessment & Certification
- Continuous evaluation through assignments, quizzes, and practicals
- Final assessment or project required in most programs
- Certificates are issued only upon successful completion of all requirements
4. Code of Conduct
- Respectful behavior towards staff, trainers, and peers is mandatory
- Zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or academic dishonesty
- Dress code and professional behavior expected during in-person sessions
5. Fees & Refunds
- All fees must be paid before the start of the course
- Refunds are subject to BTI’s refund policy, based on withdrawal timing
- No refunds for absences or missed sessions without valid justification
6. Complaint & Feedback Mechanism
- Learners may submit feedback through forms or the student portal
- Complaints are handled confidentially and resolved within 5 working days
- Appeals regarding grades or disciplinary actions must be submitted in writing
7. Health & Safety Protocols
- Compliance with UAE regulations and internal safety standards
- Emergency procedures and first aid available at all centers
- Learners must follow hygiene, safety, and security protocols
8. Digital Learning & IT Policy
- Online classes must be attended using official BTI platforms
- Recording of sessions is prohibited without prior consent
- Respectful online behavior is expected in all virtual learning environments
